Milwaukee Fashion Week is more than just an event. It is a Fashion HUB, a bridge to other regional fashion organizations, and a local fashion incubator. Milwaukee Fashion Week showcases the best of fashion in Milwaukee and surrounding regions with the first-ever full week of fashion events taking place in September.

MISSION

Milwaukee Fashion Week REIMAGINES, REDEFINES, and RENEWS fashion in the Midwest. With looking to the future of fashion we uphold our core mission of promoting fashion talent within the city, the state, and our region and work to build a fashion ecosystem of sustainability. We serve diverse and inclusive communities, from those with traditional fashion education and training to those with nontraditional experience and background. Our network connects an eclectic group of individuals, not only within Wisconsin, but throughout the Midwest and beyond.

VISION

Our motivation is to serve the fashion community in Milwaukee and the Midwest. We want to inspire the young generation who dream of pursuing fashion but may face challenges such as lack of guidance, resources, or exposure. We also want to empower the non-traditional creative, who may have discovered their passion for fashion later in life, have other commitments, or have no formal education in fashion. Along with them, we also support the traditional designer and our local fashion education partners. We aim for inclusion in fashion, creating opportunities for everyone willing to work hard and follow their passion. We challenge the status quo and break the stereotypes in fashion. We desire to lead the way and make it easier for our city's future fashion leaders.
